Non-violence and Peace Building

Many parts of the world are still gripped by conflict, wars terrorism and unrest. From the times of the Romans who declared that they bring peace with the sword, force has been used to maintain law, order and peace. Liberation struggles invariably result in violence and the stronger between the contenders enforce peace with force; Mahatma Gandhi was an exception, a pioneer who demonstrated the power of nonviolent methods.

In present times violence and brutality has taken horrific inhuman proportions in places like Syria, Nigeria and other places in North Africa. The UN is trying hard and still vicious specimens of violence periodically breed

Even in the developed world violence is well and thriving! The armament manufacturing industry for instance is a manifestation of the ‘intentions of violence and brutality’ in the way new and more effective weapons of death and destruction are enthusiastically created; under the disguise of defence. The main benefiters of this are the giant armament corporations who have made ‘violence perpetration intention’ their professional career and vocation.

America, the oldest democracy for instance, has the highest number of gangs, where build prisons is the biggest building industry! India the largest democracy is being shamed by the incidence of gender violence and rape.

Peace is an essential condition for development, progress, prosperity or any of these things to happen. In times of conflict development cannot happen. Even when one group is usurping power through violence, it does not last; violence begets violence!

THE INTERVENTION: The cycle of Progress starts with Love>Peace>Progress. The cycle of Loss starts with Hate>Violence (fragmentation)> Loss; hate and violence can never usher peace and progress.

Peace in society begins with individual peace, which starts with ‘inner’ peace. Certain extreme conditions of neglect, marginalization and oppression hurt people ….and the 'hurt' hurt! Peace begins at the individual level where there harmony in spirit-mind-body energy disturbance by negativity in the spirit realm; which is the cause of most problems of unrest and fragmentation of the individual.

Unconditional love is a game changer and has the capacity to overcome, forgive and strive forward; love over comes all… love never fails says the adage!

Peace Architecture Management Accredited Practitioner Program from People Planet Institute is a step by step initiation into harnessing the unconditional love that has the highest positivity power. This does not happen only in rhetoric but gets translated into pragmatic actions and interventions to address grass root issues that ferment dissent. Socicracy based Micro Macro Management systems help in dissemination into the society.

Special platforms are being developed to nurture meaningful peace. For instance is a forum being formed to nurture acts of unconditional love in various sectors, as needs demand; primarily because Hindu-Christianity-Islam are 3 great religions the scriptures of which exalt unconditional love, peace and joy. By collaborating with organizations such as ‘People Planet Caretakers’ people from these 3 faiths can serve issues such as meeting UN-MDG, in which nations need help. Thereby the GBQ people can bring peace among their brethren. Social entrepreneurship is a good platform to connect into societies where peace is to be established; because all people like to prosper!
